The countdown to Halloween has officially begun and this year I’m taking part in the NYC Scary Story Challenge!
It’s a writing challenge, issued to writers all around the world where we are issued a secret assignment at 11:59pm (NY time, so 4:59am UK time) and must complete it within the deadline. The deadline can be anytime between 24hrs to 8 days and the challenge must be for writers to stick to the prompt, word count and theme.
As a horror writer I can’t wait! I have just over two hours until my assignment comes in and I already plan to watch and read as much horror content as I can. We have to stretch those muscles!
Stick around to find out how it goes!
